Switching Hosting Providers
1.) Order your new hosting account• Simply select a webhosting package from this page and follow the online ordering process.
• Once your hosting account is setup you will need to upload your website, setup your email accounts and configure everything accordingly.
2.) Transfer your domain• After the account has been setup adequately let us know and a domain transfer request will be sent through by a Web Africa technician. All you have to do is contact the organisation managing the domain and inform them of the transfer. Alternatively you may update your domains nameservers yourself (this information will be supplied in your hosting 'welcome' email).
3.) Close your old hosting account.• Once the domain has successfully updated after 48 hours you should contact your old provider and instruct them to close your old hosting account.
