To utilise our ADSL packages you require:
- An ADSL enabled telephone line supplied by Telkom (Check your line | View prices)
- An ADSL modem or router either obtained from Web Africa, Telkom or a retail outlet.
Our unshaped services now have Multi-Realm capability, which allows users to switch beween the SAIX and Verizon networks by simply appending '.s' or '.v' to the ADSL username. For more information click here.

About the unshaped service
This service, which offers identical service levels to the 4GB Unshaped ADSL accounts offered by Telkom, will offer you unshaped international bandwidth and a higher data transfer rate than the shaped service. The unshaped service will not shape the protocols that are not cached by Telkom/SAIX. All protocols will therefore share the available bandwidth equally. Similar to the 3GB, 10GB, 20GB and 30GB shaped service local bandwidth will remain as is with no shaping implemented.
