Transferring a co.za domain name to Web Africa
|
Problem/Summary This will explain the process of how to transfer a co.za domain that you own to Web Africa. Coza works on a email based voting system to approve a domain transfer request. Steps 1) Firstly you will need a hosting package to host your domain. 2) You must now ensure that all parties connected to the domain have been informed of the transfer. To do this visit http://co.za/whois.shtml enter in your domain and press submit. Look for the following items: 2l. Owner E-Mail: 4g. Adm E-Mail: 5g. Tec E-Mail: These are the email address"s that must reply accordingly to the transfer request that will be sent from co.za to approve and initiate the transfer. NB: Most web hosts require a fax on a company letter-head authorising the transfer before they will approve a transfer request. 3) Contact us preferably using a support ticket under your client service support area to and let us know that all parties have been informed and we will then send a transfer request through to coza for you. 4) At this stage the old registrar/host should now approve the transfer request sent by Web Africa and your domain should be transferred within 24-48 hours. |
